How do I unsubscribe from the meroshows.com mailers?

Tickets booked for an incorrect date.

I accidentally booked my tickets for today instead of tomorrow, can you change the tickets? Tickets once booked are deemed as sold. Hence, it is not possible to cancel, replace or refund a confirmed booking.

Changing seats after booking
Can I change my seat number?

No, it is not possible to change the seat number of a ticket once booked.

Change show timing after booking
Can I change the show time that I have booked for?

Once a ticket is booked, it is deemed as sold and there is no privilege to revise the booking details.

Cancel/Replace tickets
Can we cancel or replace our tickets?

As per cinema policy, once a ticket has been paid for, it is deemed sold. It cannot be replaced or cancelled.

Booking confirmation
How can I confirm whether my tickets have been booked?

As soon as your booking is confirmed, a confirmation email containing your booking details would be sent across to your contact details entered while booking.

Ticket collection
I have booked a movie ticket using net banking/ cash cards/ gift cards/ loyalty points. How will I receive the tickets?

For movie bookings, tickets need to be collected from the cinema box office or automated kiosk. Tickets once confirmed can be collected any time prior to the show time by presenting a copy of the confirmation email or SMS.

Unable to take printouts for ticket collection
I have not been able to take a printout of my ticket confirmation. Can I just show the SMS at the box office to collect the tickets?

If you’re unable to carry a printout of the confirmation email, unless it is an e- ticket, showing the SMS at the box office to collect your tickets is sufficient. Enjoy the show.

No confirmation of booking received
I was informed that I will receive a confirmation SMS stating my booking id: which I have not yet received. Whom should I contact?

Please click on the ‘Resend Confirmation’ option present on the end of the website and enter your email ID and mobile number (entered while booking), click on send.

You can even resend confirmation from your mobile app by going to your purchase history and scrolling to the bottom right. The confirmation SMS or email will be sent across to you.

Is the confirmation SMS enough?
Will the confirmation SMS suffice to collect my tickets?

Yes! MeroShows also believes in saving paper. You can collect your tickets by presenting the confirmation SMS. Enjoy the show.

Resend Confirmation Feature
What is the ‘Resend Confirmation’ feature?

Did you just delete the confirmation SMS/email you received? Not an issue! Meroshows.com has a way to retrieve it.

Visit our website in meroshows.com and click on ‘Resend Booking Confirmation’ option present on the bottom of the page.

Enter the same contact details as you entered while transacting, click on send and there you go. The confirmation SMS or mail is with you again. It’s that simple.

4-Refund
10 days since the failed transaction
I waited for 10 working days but haven’t received my refund. What next?

You could check your updated bank statement once, in case the refund does not reflect please drop in your transaction details (contact number, email id used while transacting) at and the screenshot of your updated bank statement from the date of transaction till today at showsmero@gmail.com ,live chats or call us at 01- 4410178.

We will get the exact status of your refund checked and contact the payment gateway if necessary.

Booked my tickets was charged but did not get a confirmation mail or SMS?
I did not receive a confirmation SMS/email for a transaction I am charged for

This may due to a temporary network fluctuation. You can check your ‘Purchase History’ on the app/website.

You can use the ‘Resend Confirmation’ feature at the bottom of the web page to get your confirmation. On the app, you can use the ‘Resend Confirmation’ feature if you have an active booking under purchase history.

Refund for a failed transaction
When will I receive a refund for the failed transaction?

The amount is refunded from our end within 2 hours and should reflect in your respective wallet or account within 5-7 working days. In case it is a nationalized bank, it may take a max of 10 working days to reflect.

Why 5-7 working days for my refund?

In case of being charged for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount is refunded from our end within 2 hours. It takes 5-7 working or 10 working in case of a nationalized bank for the amount to refund to the payment source.

5-Show cancellation
Refund for cancelled shows I had booked tickets from your site but I was informed by the cinema that the show has been cancelled. How will I get my money back?

In case an event or show is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the transaction will be refunded and depending on each bank’s policy, it can sometimes take up to 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case of a nationalized bank.

Meroshows.com has come up with a wonderful option for instant refunds.

  • Log into our website or app.
  • Activate your ‘My Wallet’ by verifying your contact number through the OTP sent across your number and receive the refunds in your wallet instantly.
  • On the website: Go to your profile. Click on My Wallet- settings and change the default settings to Refund to My Wallet
  • On the App: Click on Hamburger- Click on My Wallet- click on setting on the right side-change the default settings to refund to my wallet.
Will I receive the complete refund for my transaction?
Will the whole amount be credited to my account?

The answer to this is Yes! You would receive the complete refund as the cinema provides us with an update on it.

Show cancelled?
Is my show cancelled?

In case of us receiving prior information from the cinema about a show cancellation, we make it point to inform all our customers via SMS.

In the event of a show cancellation, you can expect the amount to be refunded to your account within 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case of a nationalized bank.

6-Payment related queries
What is the CVV code? When I enter my credit card information, the website asks for a CVV code. What is the CVV code?

For visa and MasterCard credit cards, the CVV is a 3 digit number embossed or imprinted on the reverse side of the card.

This is an extra security measure to ensure that you have access or physical possession of the credit card itself in order to use the CVV code.

Booking failed but credit/debit card charged
My booking has been rejected, but my credit/debit card has been charged? What do I do?

This is a very rare situation and can occur in case of a network fluctuation at the venue at the time of confirming the transaction. In this case, a reverse request for the charge on your credit card will be sent by us the same day to the bank.

You will receive a refund SMS from our side as soon as the amount is marked as refunded from our side.

Please be assured that if the ticket has not been successfully booked, your card payment will be reversed within 10 working days.

What are the possible ways I can pay for tickets on meroshows.com?

Payment failed
I was trying to make a booking but my payment failed. When I try to rebook the tickets, the seats show as blocked in the layout. How is this possible if my payment was not successful?

In the case of an unsuccessful transaction, the seats get blocked in the system for 7-8 minutes and are then released automatically. Security of credit card information

Is it safe to enter my credit card information on your website? I am worried about my card information being hacked or stolen.

7-Ticket pickup and home delivery
E-Ticket
What is the e-ticket? How does it work?

Certain venues allow you to print your tickets at home. It’s called the e-ticket. If you select the e-ticket option, after booking your tickets, you will be issued a PDF ticket which has to be printed on your home printer. With this ticket, you do not need to pick up a physical ticket at the cinema and can bypass the box office.

Will not be able to take a printout of ticket
I have not been able to take a printout of my ticket confirmation. Can I just show the SMS confirmation at the box office to collect the tickets?

In case of being unable to carry a printout of the confirmation email, unless it is an e-ticket.

Showing the SMS confirmation at the box office will be good enough to pick up the tickets.

Kindly note the Cardholder must be present while collecting the tickets.

Forgot to carry print at home ticket
I forgot to carry my print at home ticket to the venue, can I pick up my tickets at the cinema box office?

You cannot afford to forget them. You will have to show the e-ticket at the cinema to enter the cinema hall. No e-tickets = No entry, so don’t forget to carry them. Enjoy the show.

Do you deliver my movie tickets?
Will my movie tickets be delivered after my booking is done?

Your movie tickets are confirmed and paid for, and delivery is not necessary. You can visit the cinema at any time before the show and collect your tickets from the box office. Please note that you will be required to show the credit card used and sign on the acknowledgement slip while collecting the tickets. I don’t have an age proof. I am under 18 years

I am under 18 and do not have any legal id proof, what ID do I present at the counter?

In that case, you could definitely present your current college/school ID. Your date of birth and the stamp from the concerned organization is mandate on those details.

However, a valid ID proof approved by the Government is always safe to be carried.

Tickets opted for home delivery
I want my tickets to be delivered before the given time, what do I do?

Tickets opted for home delivery are delivered maximum 2 days prior to the event date.

The show I wish to book is greyed out?

Movie buffs have already grabbed those seats and they are sold out now hence it shows greyed out.

On the app, if you select a particular category of tickets only those would show available for booking.
